University High School, Grade 12
Victor Li is a senior at University High School. He focuses on many fields of STEM, especially math, physics, and chemistry. Victor has always been passionate about working with younger students and helping them build confidence in STEM, and has been working with many organizations to promote STEM education. In middle school, Victor was the representative of his school's MATHCOUNTS team at the state level and was a member of the Science Olympiad team. During his time in high school, he was a USNCO, USAMO, USAPhO, and USACO qualifier. In his free time, Victor likes to play piano and basketball with his friends.
University High School, Grade 12
As a senior at University High School, Kevin Zheng is a USABO National Finalist and a Gold Medalist for the BBO. Kevin has also been involved in STEM competitions since a young age and is a 3x AIME qualifier. Kevin’s other interests include violin, and he can be found watching TwoSet Violin or scrolling through Wikipedia during his free time. Kevin’s volunteer experience is plentiful and abundant, and he enjoys helping young students traverse the rocky road to success in STEM.
Northwood High School, Grade 12
Daniel Chai is a senior at Northwood High School. Involved in STEM activities from a young age, being in Sierra Vista Middle School’s Science Olympiad (winning 43 medals) and Mathcounts, he has continued his STEM journey in high school, co-authoring a published abstract in the Journal of Investigative Medicine in his junior year and being part of Northwood’s chemistry club. He has a strong passion for evolutionary biology and microbiology and enjoys reading abstracts from Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution and Systematic Biology. His hobbies include tinkering with old clocks, building architectural models, illustration, and digital modeling. Daniel hopes that his role as Vice President of Publicity can help to expand the number of students with access to Aspire STEM’s services to kindle a passion for STEM similar to his own.
Troy High School, Grade 12
Andrew Tsai is a senior at Troy High School and has always had a strong interest in STEM, especially biology and chemistry. Since middle school, Andrew has volunteered with several STEM-oriented organizations and clubs to spread his passion for math and science to the next generation. Currently, Andrew is a competitor for Troy High School’s Science Olympiad team, earning medals at invitational, regional, state, and national levels. Outside of STEM, Andrew enjoys playing the piano and going birdwatching.
Lynbrook High School, Grade 12
Bryan Shao is a senior attending Lynbrook High School and has spent the majority of his time pursuing his interests in data-based computer science and math. He is involved in various clubs at school regarding STEM and is passionate about helping others find their passions within STEM-related fields. He has competed in both USACO and AMC. Outside of school, you might find Bryan playing basketball or spending time with his friends.
University High School, Grade 12
Eric Yang is a senior at University High School with a strong focus on the humanities, particularly in anthropology, history, psychology, and art history. He holds a 4.44 Academic Weighted GPA throughout his first three years of high school. In addition, Eric has always been passionate about helping younger students develop their skills in the humanities and English, working to create educational materials that shares his knowledge with others. Eric serves as the President of the National History Day club at his school and was a finalist in the state competition. Outside of academics, Eric enjoys volunteering at baseball games by umpiring (refereeing) and discussing the latest headlines on the news with his friends.
Portola High School, Grade 12
Vincent Tran is a senior (Class of 2025) at Portola High School, and for the majority of his academic career, he has been interested in the fields of analytical computer science and math. In the United States of America Computing Olympiad (formally abbreviated as USACO), Vincent participates in the Platinum division as of December of 2022, which uniquely identifies the top 250 out of 20,000 total contestants.
Crean Lutheran High School, Grade 10
Allison Wang is a sophomore (class of 2027) at Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, California. She maintains a 4.8 GPA, taking multiple AP and honors classes, as a club lacrosse athlete and honors choir singer. Besides STEM, Allison has significant interests in humanities and believes STEM is a continuous engine to push civilization forward. She is in the business cohort at her school, participating in competitions such as the Wharton Global Investment and Concordia Business Plan competition. Additionally, she is on the student board of multiple clubs at school and an editor of the school magazine. Outside of the academic curriculum, Allison is very passionate about volunteering, as she joined the Lion's Heart volunteer group and helps with animal shelter organizations during her spare time.

Joseph Chan is a senior at University High School. He primarily studies the STEM subjects math and physics. He has qualified for the AIME and has competed in F=ma exam. He hopes to help younger students develop a passion in math and to explore its countless applications. Outside of STEM, Joseph is part of the school’s varsity tennis team and has won the state championships.

Lezhong Ding (John) is a Grade 12 student at Shanghai Weiyu High School. He occupies the role of Director of China for Aspire STEM China, overseeing operations, human resources, and advertising. John has a strong background in tutoring Math, Chemistry, English, Biology, and Chinese.

Penghan Chen (Jerry) is a grade 11 student at the international division of Beijing No. 2 Middle School. He is the director of Aspire STEM's Beijing branch.
Shanghai Weiyu High School, Grade 12
Tianjun Li (Reigns) is a Grade 12 student at Shanghai Weiyu High School. He is the Director of Shanghai for Aspire STEM China, with responsibilities that include external links and development planning. Reigns is experienced in tutoring Math, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Chinese.
No. 1 High School Affiliated to Eastern China Normal University, Grade 11
Fengmin Liu (Diana) is a Grade 11 student at No. 1 High School Affiliated to Eastern China Normal University. She holds the position of Financial Manager for Aspire STEM China, where she is responsible for financial management and fundraising. Diana is well-versed in tutoring subjects such as Math, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Chinese.

Ruoxi Li (Ron) is a Grade 12 student at Shanghai Weiyu High School. She serves as the Chief Secretary for Aspire STEM China, managing activity recording and equipment. Ron has a background in tutoring Chinese, Chemistry, English, and Geography.

Yan Fang (James) is a Grade 11 student at Shanghai Fuxing High School. As the Course Manager for Aspire STEM China, he is in charge of course designs and adjustments. James has experience in tutoring Math, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Chinese.
Beijing No. 2 Middle School, Grade 11
My name is Angela from Beijing No.2 Middle School. I was fascinated by biology, and I was chosen to attend Cold Spring Harbor Course to study genetics when I was in 8th grade. I learnt basic knowledge about human inheritance and did a few experiments including gel electrophoresis. After entering high school, I studied biotech by myself and participated in HOSA and ASOB. This summer vacation, I went to summer school in Northwestern University to study principles of genetic engineering. I got A+ in the course grade, so I held a bio club to teach genetic engineering. I have completed the study of AP biology last week and plan to start studying USABO.
